Our retention time for binary newsgroups currently stands at 1045 days, and we are working on extending that time even further.
Can I sign up without rebilling?
Yes, but you will have to email us. We will then set up a special order form for you, and once you have paid, set up your account. Note: New user discounts are not available in non-rebilled subscriptions.
Do you have a download limit?
The daily download limit for the regular accounts is 2 gigabytes per account. For the unlimited accounts, there is of course no limit.
How many connections are allowed at a time per account?
We allow thirty simultaneous connections.

No, we accept subscribers from all over the world.
What are your completion rates?
Completion rates are 99 percent or greater, incomplete binary posts can usually be recovered with par2 files, plus for our regular customers we have Download Insurance, if you miss getting a binary file because it was incomplete, we will attempt to get it for you and repost it.
What will be the price per month when the special offers are over?
No specific amount for the price increase has been determined at this time, although an increase in the monthly fee of one or two dollars is the most likely scenario. However, at the time of the price increase existing customers will keep their old subscription rate for the amount of time stated on the front page of our website.
Are there any speed caps with Usenet Ranger?
No, we do not cap your download speed, on any of our account plans.

Our North American server is news.usenetranger.com. Our European server is eu-news.usenetranger.com. Use port number 119 for these servers.
These same servers can also be accessed via secure, encrypted SSL connections. Simply change the appropriate setting in your newsreader to indicate that the server connection is via SSL, and use port 563.
